3. Privacy Policy

Horizen is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, the legal bases we rely on, and the rights available to you. Where we process personal data of individuals in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we do so in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

The data controller responsible for your personal data is PT Horizen Real Estate Group (contact details in the Legal Notice above). For data-protection enquiries, contact us at info@horizenlombok.com. Horizen is established in Indonesia and does not maintain an establishment in the European Union. We have not appointed a representative under Article 27 GDPR, as our processing of EU residents' personal data is occasional and limited to handling investor enquiries; you may contact us directly using the details above for any data-protection matter.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with service providers acting on our behalf (for example, email, hosting, and analytics providers), with professional advisers (legal, tax, accounting), and with public authorities where required by law. Any such providers process data under appropriate contractual safeguards. Our analytics provider is Google (Google Ireland Limited, with Google LLC acting as a sub-processor), which processes website usage data on our behalf under the Google Analytics Data Processing Terms. Where you have agreed to be contacted by WhatsApp, your telephone number and message content are processed by Meta Platforms as described in section 3.8.

3.5 International transfers

Horizen operates from Indonesia. Where your personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom — including to Indonesia — we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection, principally by relying on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and, for personal data from the United Kingdom, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum), together with additional safeguards where appropriate. Where necessary, we may also rely on your explicit consent to a specific transfer. Website analytics data collected through Google Analytics is processed by Google on servers that may be located in the United States; Google relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for those transfers.

3.6 Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal and tax obligations, and to resolve disputes. Enquiry and correspondence data is typically retained for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required to meet our legal, accounting, or tax obligations (Indonesian tax records, for example, are kept for 10 years). When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymised. Website analytics data collected through Google Analytics is retained for a maximum of 14 months from collection, after which it is deleted automatically.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. If you are in the EU or UK and believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

3.8 WhatsApp communications

If you submit an enquiry form on this website and provide your telephone number, or if you message us on WhatsApp, we may communicate with you through the WhatsApp Business Platform, a service operated by Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Ireland Limited for users in the European Region; WhatsApp LLC elsewhere). This may include an automated confirmation message sent shortly after you submit a form, and follow-up messages relating to your enquiry.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies to make the website function correctly and to understand how it is used.

Your choice. When you first visit the website we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you accept, Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode in which it stores nothing on your device and generates no identifier; if you decline, it stays in that mode, and Google receives only a cookieless signal that a page was viewed, with nothing that could link it to you or to your other visits.
